This contract role has a planned start date of 7 January 2027, with an earlier start possible for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that support pupils of different abilities.
- Develop pupils’ reading, writing and communication skills through well-structured teaching.
- Assess pupils’ work, provide constructive feedback and use progress information to inform lesson planning.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support consistent teaching and learning across the English department.
- Follow the school’s safeguarding policies and promote pupils’ welfare.
