About the Role
Ramsay Health Care is seeking an Engineer to join Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours per week, supporting a safe, well-maintained hospital environment and helping to ensure legal compliance. The hospital provides private healthcare for insured and self-paying patients, as well as NHS patients accessing treatment through the e-referral system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the safe and reliable operation of hospital facilities and engineering systems.
- Carry out maintenance checks and respond to engineering faults within your area of competence.
- Help ensure maintenance activities meet relevant legal and health and safety requirements.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance work and identified issues.
- Work with hospital colleagues to plan engineering work with consideration for patient care and service continuity.
