About the Role
CDE Ireland Limited is seeking an Electrician for a permanent role in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, within the manufacturing sector. You will contribute your electrical skills to a business focused on recovering materials for reuse in construction and reducing reliance on finite natural resources. Together with its customers, CDE has diverted more than 100 million tonnes of waste material from landfill back into the materials market.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, wiring and maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Inspect and test electrical systems and components to support safe, reliable operation.
- Identify electrical faults and undertake appropriate repairs.
- Read and work from electrical drawings and technical instructions.
- Work with colleagues to complete tasks in line with quality standards and safe working practices.
What You'll Need
- Relevant electrical qualifications or recognised apprenticeship training.
- Practical electrical installation, testing and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical information.
- A sound understanding of electrical safety and safe working procedures.
- A careful, organised approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
