About the Role
Meridian Business Support Limited is recruiting an Electrical Shift Engineer for a permanent position in Woking, Surrey. You will join a facilities maintenance team at the global headquarters of a luxury automotive brand, working in a high-profile, technically varied environment. The role offers the opportunity to apply your electrical expertise to help keep an important site operating safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
- Investigate electrical faults and complete repairs to support reliable building services.
- Monitor electrical equipment and identify maintenance requirements.
- Work with the wider facilities team to coordinate maintenance and minimise disruption.
- Maintain clear records of maintenance work and provide effective shift handovers.
- Follow relevant health and safety procedures when carrying out electrical work.
What You'll Need
- Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or training.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within facilities or building services.
- Practical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A sound understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices.
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to work shifts and support on-call requirements.
