Mechanical / Electrical Site Engineer Heckmondwike Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm Overview: We are seeking a skilled Site Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to lead our Engineering team and ensure all production equipment and site infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. This role is hands-on, requiring strong technical ability and excellent organizational skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Carry out Preventative Maintenance Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose Installation of new machines and equipment Review and Advise on engineering requirements Work with single phase / three phase electrical circuits Work with and Coordinate Contractors Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard Fault Finding and testing of equipment Determine the root cause of the fault and then undertake cost effective solution to remedy the defect. xrexnqw You will be actively involved in continuous improvement projects Effective Communication – keeping Management and relevant parties aware, seeking advice and assistance when required. Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety Ensure machinery is operating to OEE standards Contribute to waste management Proven experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Must be available for emergency call outs when full training provided after 2 weeks Driving license essential
