About the Role
Redline Group Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent opportunity with its client's growing R&D team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This hands-on role involves designing and developing electrical systems for highly specialised machinery, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams from concept through to manufacture. The position is suitable for a junior engineer looking to develop their skills or a mid-level engineer ready to take on greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for specialised machinery.
- Use SolidWorks to support engineering design and development activities.
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering colleagues to integrate electrical systems into machinery designs.
- Contribute to projects from initial concept through detailed design and manufacture.
- Support hands-on development work and help resolve electrical design challenges.
What You'll Need
- A background in electrical engineering, with experience appropriate to a junior or mid-level design role.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and its use in engineering design.
- An understanding of electrical systems and an interest in specialised machinery.
