About the Role
Orion Smart Metering is looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to support its growing national contracts with energy and metering companies. This contract opportunity covers Ashtead, Surrey, and requires you to live within the KT postcode area. You will carry out dual fuel smart metering work with a focus on safety, quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and exchange gas and electricity smart meters at customer properties.
- Carry out appropriate safety checks and testing in line with industry requirements.
- Identify and report metering faults or issues requiring further attention.
- Explain meter operation to customers and answer their questions clearly.
- Complete accurate job records and maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
What You'll Need
- Experience working as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.
- Relevant qualifications and current authorisations for gas and electricity metering work.
- A home address within the KT postcode area.
- A strong understanding of safe working practices and metering standards.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to organise your workload and complete work accurately.
