About the Role
Outcomes First Group is seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant at Underley Garden School in Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, LA6 2DZ. You will help keep the school clean, hygienic and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. This permanent, term-time-only role offers 15 hours per week and is due to start in October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning across designated areas of the school.
- Keep floors, surfaces and shared spaces clean and tidy.
- Clean washroom facilities and replenish hygiene supplies as needed.
- Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards or cleaning supply shortages to the appropriate colleague.
- Follow school procedures to support a safe environment for pupils and staff.
What You'll Need
- A reliable approach to work and good attention to detail.
- The ability to manage routine cleaning tasks within your scheduled hours.
- A willingness to follow cleaning, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- A considerate approach to working in a school environment.
- Availability to work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Existing eligibility to work in the UK; applications are open to UK applicants only and sponsorship is not available.
