About the Role
Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for a Design Engineer (Maritime) on a contract basis in Portsmouth, Hampshire, with Southampton also referenced as a location. You will join a growing maritime engineering specialist, contributing to marine infrastructure projects alongside experienced engineers. This role offers an opportunity to build on your maritime, civil or structural engineering experience and develop towards senior project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to engineering design work for marine infrastructure projects.
- Help prepare and review technical calculations, drawings and design documentation.
- Apply maritime, civil or structural engineering principles to develop practical design solutions.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to address technical challenges and support project delivery.
- Support design quality and compliance with relevant engineering standards and project requirements.
