About the Role
Outcomes First Group is seeking a Deputy Headteacher – Curriculum for Belmont School in Rossendale, Lancashire. This multi-site role spans Belmont Primary School (BB4 7LJ) and Belmont Secondary School (BB4 6RX), providing curriculum leadership across both settings. The position is permanent and term time only, with a start date of January 2027 or earlier if possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of the curriculum across the primary and secondary settings.
- Work with the Headteacher and school leaders to support high standards of teaching and learning.
- Support teaching staff with curriculum planning, delivery and assessment.
- Monitor pupil progress and use findings to inform curriculum improvements.
- Promote a coherent learning journey as pupils progress through the school.
- Contribute to wider school leadership, safeguarding and school improvement priorities.
What You'll Need
- A strong teaching background with experience of curriculum leadership.
- The ability to support and develop colleagues and lead improvements in teaching and learning.
- An understanding of curriculum planning, assessment and progression across school phases.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work across two sites.
- A commitment to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and inclusive education.
- Applicants must be UK-based and have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
