About the Role
ASCEND CARE GROUP LTD T/A Ascend Recruitment and Placements is recruiting a dedicated CQC Registered Manager on behalf of a client in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This permanent role offers a salary of £45,000 and the opportunity to lead a care service with a focus on outstanding standards. You will take responsibility for regulatory compliance while supporting a team of care professionals to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold full responsibility as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the Fundamental Standards of Care.
- Lead, mentor and develop the care team, promoting compassionate and accountable practice.
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery, keeping the needs and wellbeing of people receiving care at the centre of decisions.
- Monitor care quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective governance, accurate records and readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Promote safeguarding and a culture in which concerns are raised and addressed appropriately.
What You'll Need
- Relevant care management experience and the ability to fulfil the responsibilities of a CQC Registered Manager.
- A strong understanding of CQC requirements and the Fundamental Standards of Care.
