About the Role
Futures Housing Group is looking for a Community Safety Manager to lead its specialist service within the wider Communities Team. Based in Derby, this permanent role focuses on helping customers feel heard, reassured and confident in the places they call home. You will bring a people-centred approach to creating safer communities, supporting people through difficult situations and leading a service that makes a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the community safety service, keeping customers’ needs at the centre of its work.
- Guide colleagues in responding sensitively and effectively to community safety concerns.
- Help customers navigate difficult situations with clear communication and appropriate support.
- Work with the wider Communities Team and relevant partners to support safer neighbourhoods.
- Review service delivery and identify opportunities to improve customer experiences and outcomes.

- Relevant experience in community safety, housing or a related people-focused service.
- The ability to lead a specialist service and support colleagues with challenging situations.
