About the Role
JWB Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer on behalf of a client supporting a portfolio of sites across South West England. This permanent position, listed in Taunton, Somerset, is suited to an experienced Commercial Gas & HVAC Engineer who is confident working independently across varied commercial environments. You will undertake installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain and repair commercial gas and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out appropriate repairs to support reliable system operation.
- Undertake planned maintenance and respond to repair requirements across a portfolio of commercial sites.
- Work independently, managing site tasks safely and effectively.
- Complete accurate service and maintenance records and communicate findings clearly.
- Carry out work in line with relevant gas safety regulations and site procedures.
What You'll Need
- Strong experience working with commercial gas and HVAC systems.
- Relevant commercial gas qualifications and competence to undertake the work safely.
- Practical expertise in installation, servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- The confidence to work independently in a senior engineering role.
- A professional approach to site communication, record-keeping and health and safety.
- Willingness and ability to travel to sites across South West England.
