About the Role
CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer for a permanent role covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Joining a growing team, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a varied portfolio of commercial properties. Sites include schools, retail premises, office buildings and other commercial contracts, with a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests, identifying faults and completing appropriate repairs.
- Complete servicing and safety checks in line with relevant gas safety regulations and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work and repairs.
- Communicate with site contacts and colleagues to coordinate work and minimise disruption.
What You'll Need
- Experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer across commercial properties.
- Relevant, current commercial gas qualifications for the work undertaken.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience of planned and reactive maintenance.
- A sound understanding of gas safety requirements and safe working practices.
- A professional approach, with good communication and record-keeping skills.
- The ability to travel between sites across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
