What you'll need Proven experience as a CNC miller, CNC turner or manual turner The ability to work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances Confidence at the level the role calls for — setting and operating, editing, or full programming Experience on the relevant control (Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol or ProTurn) — though several of these clients will consider any control background and support you to cross-train
