About the Role
Manpower UK is recruiting full-time Class 2 Specialist Drivers for a role based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, WF6 1RW. You will carry out multidrop deliveries, working Monday to Friday with 06:00 starts and an average eight-hour shift. This is a temporary contract with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned delivery routes.
- Complete multidrop deliveries in line with the daily schedule.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any faults or concerns.
- Handle goods with care and follow safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and comply with drivers’ hours requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team.
What You'll Need
- A valid UK Category C licence suitable for Class 2 driving.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph credentials.
- A sound understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
- A reliable approach to early starts and weekday shifts.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- The ability to manage multiple delivery stops safely and efficiently.
