We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Southampton . The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area. ?? Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team
Deliveries are completed using a handball method, involving regular manual handling
Typically 8–9 hour shifts
Job & Finish – once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished
Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe
?? Training & Induction All successful drivers will complete: Classroom-based induction
Driving assessment
Full familiarisation with the delivery process and requirements
Support and guidance before going out on deliveries independently
? Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
Comfortable with handball and manual handling
Good customer service skills
Reliable, punctual and professional
Able to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team
Good knowledge of UK roads
