About the Role
GXO Logistics is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join its growing team in Sherburn in Elmet, in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire. You'll support a supply chain operation serving a major coffee shop customer, helping goods reach their destinations safely and reliably. Key Responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and in accordance with road transport regulations.
- Complete deliveries to customer locations in line with planned routes and schedules.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects or operational concerns promptly.
- Ensure goods are handled securely and follow safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and drivers' hours records.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team throughout your shift.
What You'll Need
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles.
- A sound understanding of drivers' hours, road safety and vehicle checks.
- A reliable approach to work, with good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work from the Sherburn in Elmet location.
