About the Role
Gregory is recruiting a Class 2 Day Driver for a permanent role in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. You will operate refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 18 tonnes, using a tail lift to support deliveries. This daytime driving role involves working five days per week on a rota between Monday and Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 18 tonnes safely and responsibly.
- Carry out deliveries using a tail lift to assist with unloading.
- Complete vehicle checks and report any faults or safety concerns.
- Handle goods carefully and follow relevant refrigerated transport procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Follow road traffic regulations and applicable drivers’ hours requirements.
What You'll Need
- A UK Class 2 Category C driving licence.
- Availability to work five days per week on a rota between Monday and Saturday.
- A safety-conscious approach to driving, vehicle checks and handling goods.
- The ability to operate a tail lift safely and follow delivery procedures.
