About the Role
Gregory is recruiting experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers for permanent positions based at Eurocentral, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. Following multiple contract wins and significant fleet growth, the company is expanding its driving team. Working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you will carry out nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-side trailers to transport palletised goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete nationwide deliveries and collections of palletised goods.
- Operate Class 1 vehicles with curtain-side trailers safely and responsibly.
- Check that loads are secure and follow safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and comply with drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team throughout each journey.
What You'll Need
- A valid UK Class 1 C+E driving licence.
- Experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
- Willingness to undertake nationwide tramping work, including nights away from home.
- Availability to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
- A sound understanding of vehicle safety, load security and drivers’ hours requirements.
- A reliable approach to work and good communication skills.
