About the Role
Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing day work with a client based in Derby. This contract role offers consistent Monday to Friday work with no weekend commitments. Pay is £17.73 per hour, with an overtime rate of £26.59 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally on assigned routes.
- Complete scheduled transport duties and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure loads are secure and handled in line with relevant safety procedures.
- Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph and road transport regulations.
What You'll Need
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph cards.
- A sound understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours requirements.
- A reliable, professional approach and availability for Monday to Friday day work in Derby.
