Why drive for Pure Staff as an HGV Class 1 Driver?
No gimmicks. No confusing pay. Just honest PAYE employment. Some agencies advertise confusing umbrella assignment rates that include employer on-costs within the advertised rate. Others use outsourced payroll companies that can add unnecessary complexity and leave drivers unsure who is actually paying them. Some even include holiday pay within the hourly rate without making it clear. At Pure Staff, we believe in keeping things simple, transparent and compliant. You are employed directly by Pure Staff 100% PAYE - No umbrella companies - No outsourced payroll companies - No limited company arrangements Weekly pay directly into your bank every Thursday night / Friday morning Paid by our own experienced in-house payroll team Paid accurately and on time (99.9% of the time), with any discrepancies investigated and corrected promptly No payroll processing fees No administration charges No hidden deductions or nasty surprises We simply tell you exactly what you'll earn.
Holiday Pay
We believe professional HGV Class 1 Drivers deserve proper paid annual leave. Rather than rolling your holiday pay into every hourly rate, your holiday entitlement builds up as you work and is ready to be paid when you book time off.
