About the Role
Platinum People are recruiting a Class 1 ADR Driver for a client in Perth, Perth & Kinross. This contract role involves multi-drop chemical deliveries, with a move to a permanent position after 12 weeks. You will work Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start, and training is provided for pressure-bin coupling and discharge duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out around 2–8 deliveries per run.
- Deliver chemicals in packages, drums and palletised loads using a manual tail lift.
- Deliver pressure bins, couple them to tanks at customers’ premises and discharge their contents following training.
- Handle and transport hazardous goods safely in line with ADR requirements.
- Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork, reporting any issues promptly.
What You'll Need
- A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence and an ADR qualification appropriate for the loads carried.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- A safety-conscious approach to chemical deliveries and manual handling.
- Willingness to undertake training in pressure-bin coupling and discharge procedures.
- Availability for Monday-to-Friday work with 06:00 starts.
