About the Role
Roadchef is looking for an Assistant Manager to join its Costa Coffee team at Clacket Lane Services on the M25. This permanent hospitality role is an opportunity for an ambitious leader who enjoys a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will support the day-to-day running of the unit, helping the team deliver a welcoming experience for road users.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management team with the daily operation of the Costa Coffee unit.
- Lead and motivate colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient customer service.
- Help coordinate shifts and maintain service standards during busy periods.
- Support the preparation and presentation of drinks and food to consistent standards.
- Help maintain cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Respond to customer queries and support the team in resolving service issues.
What You'll Need
- Experience in hospitality, catering or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Leadership skills and the confidence to support and motivate a busy team.
- A passion for customer service and creating a positive experience for every visitor.
- The ability to stay organised and calm in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
