About the Role
Join The Clink Charity as a Chef Trainer at its new Clink Café at Guildford Crown Court in Guildford, Surrey. This permanent role combines practical catering with hands-on hospitality training for vulnerable and at-risk young people. You will support learners as they develop kitchen skills, work towards accredited qualifications and gain real-world experience with an award-winning charity dedicated to reducing reoffending and building brighter futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical chef training and guide learners through day-to-day café kitchen activities.
- Demonstrate food preparation, cooking and presentation techniques, encouraging consistent standards.
- Support young people in developing the skills and confidence needed to progress towards hospitality employment.
- Help learners work towards accredited qualifications through practical guidance and constructive feedback.
- Promote safe working practices, food hygiene and a clean, organised kitchen.
- Contribute to a supportive learning environment while helping the café deliver a professional service.
What You'll Need
