About the Role
Balloo Hire Centres is looking for Casual Yard Operatives to support its Bangor depot on a flexible basis. Balloo provides tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY customers across Northern Ireland. As part of The Briggs Equipment Group, it combines local service with wider group support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the depot yard.
- Help keep the yard and equipment storage areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Assist with moving and positioning hire equipment safely, following instructions.
- Support the depot team with preparing equipment for collection and receiving returned items.
- Follow site safety procedures and report any equipment damage or hazards.

- Advertised salary of £28,690, with the pay basis and applicable hours to be confirmed.
- Flexible casual work supporting the Bangor depot; contractual arrangements will be confirmed during recruitment.

- Depot operating hours of Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am–12:00pm, with individual shifts to be agreed.
