About the Role
Gregory is looking for a Casual Class 1 Shunter to join its operation in Bridgwater, Somerset. In this part-time role, you will move trailers and tanks between the trailer park, loading bays and production areas to keep site operations running smoothly. This is a practical role for a UK Class 1 C+E licence holder with a safety-conscious approach to yard work.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve empty trailers from the trailer park and position them where required.
- Transport loaded and empty tanks between the trailer park and production areas.
- Move loaded trailers from the loading bay to designated parking areas.
- Carry out shunting movements safely, following site procedures.
- Assist with general yard duties to help maintain an orderly and efficient working environment.
What You'll Need
- A valid UK Class 1 C+E driving licence.
- The ability to manoeuvre trailers safely and accurately within a working yard.
- A responsible approach to site safety and awareness of other vehicles and pedestrians.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow operational instructions.
- A flexible, practical approach and willingness to support general yard duties.
