About the Role

As Business Resilience Manager, you will help the organisation respond to, recover from and adapt to disruption, protecting its people, customers and services. This full-time role in Reading, Berkshire offers the opportunity to build on and continuously improve Simplyhealth’s business continuity and operational resilience capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business continuity and operational resilience plans and processes.
- Work with teams across the organisation to identify critical services, dependencies and potential sources of disruption.
- Coordinate resilience exercises to test response and recovery arrangements and identify improvements.
- Support a coordinated response to incidents, helping teams restore services and minimise disruption.
- Review lessons learned from incidents and exercises to strengthen resilience capabilities.
- Promote awareness of business continuity responsibilities and support colleagues in preparing for disruption.
What You'll Need
- Experience in business continuity, operational resilience or a closely related discipline.
- An understanding of how to assess disruption risks and develop practical response and recovery plans.
- The ability to coordinate testing and exercises and translate findings into meaningful improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across different teams.
- A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A focus on protecting customers, colleagues and essential services.
