Retail and leisure will form an important part of the workload. If you enjoy getting to know a client's portfolio, understanding how its buildings are used and giving advice that helps it make practical decisions, this role is worth exploring. As the Building Surveying service grows, you'll have input into its reporting standards and ways of working, with the opportunity to support less experienced surveyors. Who This Would Suit You're an MRICS Building Surveyor with a strong grounding in professional work and the confidence to advise clients without needing close supervision. You know how to investigate an issue, explain the options clearly and produce a report that helps a client decide what to do next.
