About the Role
Blenheim Schools is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to join Oakfields Preparatory School on Harwood Hall Lane, Upminster, Essex, RM14 2YG. Oakfields is an independent day school for children aged 2½ to 11, combining high expectations with strong pastoral care and a passion for innovation. This permanent, term-time role involves working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7.00am to 9.00am, helping children enjoy a welcoming and positive start to their school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Help provide a safe, welcoming and supportive breakfast club environment.
- Support the breakfast routine, encouraging good hygiene and positive table manners.
- Supervise children during age-appropriate activities before the school day begins.
- Promote positive behaviour and help children build confidence and independence.
- Work with colleagues to support a smooth transition into the school day.
- Follow school safeguarding, health and safety procedures, reporting concerns appropriately.
