This permanent opportunity would suit a newly or recently qualified CA/ACCA accountant, or a third-year CA/ACCA trainee keen to qualify and progress. The role offers a varied client portfolio, a clear career structure and ongoing training, alongside hybrid and flexible working over a 35-hour week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of audit assignments across a varied client portfolio.
- Carry out audit fieldwork, gathering evidence and documenting findings clearly.
- Prepare audit working papers in line with relevant professional standards.
- Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
- Work with colleagues to progress assignments and meet agreed deadlines.
What You'll Need
- Newly or recently qualified CA/ACCA status, or third-year trainee experience with a commitment to qualifying.
- Practical audit experience within an accountancy practice.
- A sound understanding of audit procedures and relevant accounting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills and a professional approach to client relationships.
