This is a hands-on Team Leader position, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved on the shop floor while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a small assembly team. --------------------------------------------------- What's on offer: Up to £15.00 per hour + shift allowance Permanent, full-time position Company pension On-site parking Supportive working environment Opportunity to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business You'll work alongside the team, helping organise workloads, maintaining quality standards and making sure production targets are achieved safely and on time. --------------------------------------------------- What you'll be doing: Leading and supporting the Assembly team on shift Allocating daily workloads and monitoring progress Working hands-on with the team to assemble fabricated metal components Using a range of hand and power tools Reading and working from engineering drawings Checking completed work against required quality standards Training and supporting new and existing team members Identifying and reporting production or quality issues Keeping the department organised, safe and running efficiently Working closely with other production departments to meet deadlines --------------------------------------------------- What we're looking for: Previous assembly experience xrexnqw within an engineering or manufacturing environment Previous Team Leader experience Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings Confident using hand and power tools Good attention to detail and quality Strong communication and organisational skills A practical, hands-on approach to leadership Reliable and comfortable working within a busy production environment Experience assembling sheet metal, fabricated components or engineering products would be particularly advantageous.
