About the Role
Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic for a contract role supporting the F-35 aircraft programme at RAF Marham, near King's Lynn, Norfolk. You will join a specialist team working in a state-of-the-art department on an advanced military aircraft platform. This is an opportunity to apply your aircraft maintenance expertise in a modern defence aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support aircraft maintenance activities within the F-35 programme at RAF Marham.
- Carry out mechanical maintenance tasks in accordance with approved technical instructions and procedures.
- Assist with inspections, fault identification and rectification within your authorised scope of work.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work undertaken.
- Work closely with the wider engineering team to support safe and effective maintenance delivery.
- Follow applicable safety, quality and tool-control procedures.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic.
- A sound understanding of aircraft mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
- The ability to read and follow technical documentation and maintenance instructions.
- A careful, methodical approach to safety, quality and record-keeping.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in an engineering environment.
- Availability to work on site at RAF Marham in Norfolk.
