About the Role
Manpower is recruiting reliable, professional 7.5T Drivers for a recognised UK logistics and distribution organisation in Southampton, SO18 2XX. This temporary, ongoing contract offers regular work within a nationwide operation, with various shifts available. The role is suited to experienced drivers who take pride in safe driving and dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and professionally on allocated routes.
- Complete deliveries and collections in line with schedules and instructions.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Ensure goods are handled safely and loads are secure before travelling.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driving records.
- Follow road traffic legislation, drivers’ hours rules and company procedures.
What You'll Need
- A valid driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
- Valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card where required.
- Relevant commercial driving experience and a strong commitment to road safety.
- A reliable, punctual approach and professional communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions accurately.
- Availability for the shifts agreed as part of the assignment.
